(Virtual) Understanding Implicit Bias with Project Implicit
Thursday, November 307:00—8:00 PMZoom
Join the Somerville Public Library for a workshop on understanding implicit bias.
Project Implicit translates scientific research into concrete, actionable steps to interrupt the influence of implicit bias. The goal of this workshop is to help people become more aware of implicit bias and, more importantly, to use that awareness to align their actions with their intentions, make better decisions, and build lives where everyone can thrive.
THIS WORKSHOP WILL NOW BE HELD VIRTUALLY. PLEASE REGISTER BELOW TO RECEIVE THE ZOOM LINK TO ATTEND THE PROGRAM.
About Project Implicit:
Project Implicit is committed to challenging organizational and institutional disparities through data-driven research and education. Project Implicit is the product of a team of scientists whose research produced new ways of understanding attitudes, stereotypes, and other hidden biases that influence perception, judgment, and action. Their researchers and collaborators translate that academic research into practical applications for addressing diversity, improving decision-making, and increasing the likelihood that practices are aligned with personal and organizational values.
