AARP Foundation is offering free in-person tax assistance at the West Branch, with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low to moderate income. Tax preparation will take place Wednesdays, February 2 - April 13 from 9 am to 2 pm by appointment only. Schedule an appointment online or ask a librarian for assistance.

Taxpayers will bring all relevant 2021 tax documents to their appointment, and after a brief interview with a volunteer preparer will leave while their taxes are prepared, then return later the same day or the following week to approve and sign their return.
